Two new Samsung tablets are now available, and they boast three advantages that the current iPad can’t match.
Looking for a new tablet? Samsung is making a pitch to convince you to consider its Galaxy tablets over the popular iPad lineup. The company is launching two new devices on October 12: a 10.9-inch Galaxy Tab S9 FE and a larger 12.4-inch Tab S9 FE+. These tablets might be worth your attention.
Both tablets resemble Apple’s 10th Gen iPad, featuring slim bezels around the screen and offering a variety of colorful options like Lavender and Mint. However, Samsung is introducing distinctive features on the S9 FE range not found in the iPad. Firstly, both the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9+ are IP68 water-resistant, making them capable of withstanding rainy British weather or even a quick dip in the tub if you happen to drop them while watching Netflix during your nightly bath.
Moreover, the displays on these tablets boast a more impressive 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, whereas the iPad 10th Gen can only manage 60Hz. Additionally, the tablets come with an S Pen stylus included in the box.
The S Pen, a digital pencil allowing on-screen scribbling without the need for your finger, is included with these tablets. In contrast, Apple offers a similar feature with its Apple Pencil accessory, but it doesn’t come with the device, and you would need to pay an additional £109 to get one.
Let’s talk about the price. The Tab S9 FE range starts at £449, which is £50 less expensive than the iPad, and it includes the S Pen.
Another advantage is that you won’t have to purchase extra storage because the Tab S9 features a microSD card slot that can provide up to 1TB of additional storage for your files, movies, and music.
Additional noteworthy features include up to 20 hours of battery life and Vision Booster technology, which enhances screen visibility in daylight.
